I’m sure you have heard already that I’ve had serious computer problems this week from Ali’s post on Tuesday; which I am very thankful for… i hate missing posts. Anyway, I just built a new computer which still doesn’t have Photoshop and all the other goodies on it just yet so I asked TNP Artist, Philippa Rice of My Cardboard Life if she could pitch in a bit of her talent to get me through this week! I’m hoping by next week things will be back to normal. I wont have a laptop for about a month til Dell sends me a Refurbished one, but till then, the system i just set up is probably better anyway.. it a 100% clean slate with nothing on it yet but the internet! Thank you Ali and Philippa for helping me out of this jam. Here is what Philippa said about her drawing:
It’s a queen of puddings and some guards who are two trifles. Have you heard of “Queen of Puddings”? It’s a dessert with a layer of semolina pudding, with jam in the middle and meringue on top. I sent a letter to the Queen once, asking her if her favourite pudding was queen of puddings, but she didn’t reply. The reply I actually got was from her Lady in waiting, and she basically said “thank you for your letter, her majesty enjoyed reading it” and that was it. So I never found out what the Queens favourite pudding is. She probably doesn’t even know what a pudding is. All she eats is gold and diamonds.

i love how everything looks desserty, i doubt that’s an actual word, but the top of the orange headed guards staff looks to have a burger on it. He’s the cool guard. He’s got to be a little different.
Regardless of what they are. I still think I’d eat em all.

I love it, but those guards on the sides are kinda freakin’ me out.

Would your hunger over come your fear just to try them out? I think I would… they look tasty enough.
as a connoisseur of food I would be interested in tasting the fear. I imagine it would have a baked apple flavor.
hmm.. I’d think fear would be a bit more bitter.. maybe something like black coffee? Baked apples sure sound good right now…
