This is a pie that I wouldn’t eat…which is really rather sad because I love eating pie, and i love eating.. and if I don’t eat it I’m not doing either! DRATS!
So here’s the deal, right away I’m sure some of you may notice that the title of this inkling is that of the popular web-comic Octopus Pie by Meredith Gran, and if you did observe this fact you may be wondering why I did this. Well, there is a very good reason (I think)… the other day it dawned on me how weird some comics names are and how they really don’t make much sense at all if you take a moment and think about them. This therefore made me realize that the silly images that these names paint would be PERFECT tag-lines for this month. Makes me wonder how often creators pick their comic’s names based on this fact. Either way, me drawing their comic’s titles is not only a great way to help spread the word of some pretty damn good comics but it also let us play a bit with our imaginations and see what these comics could have been… if I was the artist! lol
So, suggest some names of comics that you like to read or just think are ridiculously titled and I’ll see what my little brain can come up with.
