As epic as it may seem, the hot dogs are actually mad merely because the alligator had say “Bonjour!” as he floated by them. Everyone knows hot dogs don’t speak French! Poor guy….
If you are a hot dog eater, what toppings/condiments do you put on your dogs? I’m a mustard type of guy. I make it so you can’t even see the hot dog i put so much on. If onions are available i also throw some of that on there and even garlic if I can find it! Trust me… I have awesome breath after i eat one of these gifts from God. :] Does that make me weird?
In other news, I just got back from San Diego Comic Con. This year, TNPPress didn’t have a booth but we networked and talked with a lot of artists folk. In fact we got a few video interviews with Andrew Bell artist of The Creatures in My Head, Chris Yates Creator of Reprographics, Jon Rosenberg non-goat of Goats, S.Bevan & K.Earle genius’ behind White Ninja, and plenty of other actors and artists as well. :] We were hoping to have the first of the Con coverage up by tonight but had some issues getting it on Youtube, so tomorrow I’ll probably edit this post with the link or just post one or two in Thursdays post! I personally did a few of the interviews, so I’m excited to see how they come out as a finished product. Until then though, you can check out a “twitterview” (an interview via twitter), that I did with an artist friend of mine.

The hot dogs are my favorite part about this entire drawing, so much so that I almost want to make them a recurring character at a later date. Maybe another war with them against the matches? lol that would be really rather epic wouldn’t it?

I guess you could put it that way! I personally see adding stuff like that to food as odd, even hot dogs – where as most people think a “plain” hot dog is odd

See, we agree on the cereal thing. I don’t know why, but in that case i feel like it ruins the cereal, makes it soggy and the milk over powers the flavor of the actual food too much.

HAHAHA great just great! so i never knew that alligators bleed ketchup…. it all makes sense now why hotdogs kill french gators, its to get the sweet sweeeet ketchup thats inside them!

hahahaha, now that you mention it… it really does look like the gators blood is ketchup. That was the one thing i wasn’t 100% happy with before i posted it, but now that you point that out its probably one of my favorite parts cos its so random.
omg this is amazing. it seriously made me laugh. the facial expressions crack me up as always. i love how the hot dogs themselves are probably going to die from the rate of the speed that they’re falling. and all they wanted to do was kill an alligator because he said “bonjour” … i hope they weren’t planning on eating it because they could just be eating each other.
Once they hit the ground, they will die and a clean up crew will swing by, sweep ‘em up and bring them to a meat processing plant. I think the reason Alligator jerky has “beef” in it is because this sort of “Meat War” happens often so they just blend the scraps into one meaty mesh.
I really like this a lot. I love the gator and the hot dogs for entirely different reasons. I’m proud to have been there during the creation – in a completely inconsequential facebook kind of way.

Even though you suggested it being called “Mystery Meat” your suggested MEAT will be immortalized for all to see!

I eat them with mustard and sometimes ketchup, i do love onions on them and i have been known to throw some sauerkraut on them as well but i absolutely loath relish. The mustard is the only must have.
