I rewatched it recently and there are SOOO MANY adult jokes in it that it blows my mind. The difference tho was that Ren and Stimpy had a colorful happy front to it. Invader Zim from the get go was dark and as anyone who read Jhonen's stuff could see, fucked up right in your face. lol I've never heard of Adventure time... but i will have to check it out if you think its that much of a "wtf" moment type deal.
