In the spring and summer i listen to my hard stuff for the energy and then in winter i listen to more easy stuff. Loreena McKennitt is my favorite in winter. Or anything sung by Alison Krauss. I tend to listen to a ton of Japanese composers as well. In summer its more NIN, Tool, or any punk. Now i'm talking real punk not that bubblegum crap kids these days call punk. It does for me. Country and Rap are the two things genres that you almost need to be in the demographic intended to ever even understand the appeal. I will admit country is REALLY hard for me to get into, but i can handle hip-hop very well! :D I'm glad to hear that your CD collections is similar to mine then. My CD Collection is really intensely different. Considering my favorite genres are: Hip-hop, Folk (indie to blue grass), Electronica and Metal. Typically i go through phases, and they last about a quarter of the year.. so they are kind of like the 4 seasons to me!
