Let me start this post with the suggestion I got in the INKu Suggestion box before I tell you what the hell this is about. This was the suggestion: “some sort of monster involving a giraffe/clown/lobster- cute baby form would be cool 2 :0)” …being that I am still extremely tired from the trip to San Fransisco for APE, I miss read this thing at least 3 times. I looked through pictures of giraffes, clowns and lobster and my mind went all over the place as to where I could take this one. Once I started the drawing I went back and realized “babies” was part of the suggestion…not “cute baby form” so i just started drawing little bear faces and a diaper. THEN i reread it and realized I just didn’t understand what I was doing anymore and fought the urge to sleep so much that I clearly lost my mind… So I’m going to sleep now…

this is perrrrrrrrrrrfect. My sister in laws hate giraffes and lobsters and clowns. (I threw the baby part in there for effect mostly). But I was lookin for something creepy to email them and I think this’ll suit them juuuuust fine.

Wow. Came over to check out the new work, and I’m still half asleep over here. With being in such a state (half asleep and sick as hell) the background was moving on me. Love what you did with the idea that was left for you to work with. Deliriousness or not, this is epic and all kinds of awesome!
