Its Valentines Day every day in the mind of my friend Micheal May. I don’t know if that’s because he just has that much love to give or if its cos that part of his brain broken and he’s confused about the day. 
Just joshing you Mike! I’m defiantly a fan of Mr. May’s comic, especially since in the beginning it reminded me of the TV show Dead Like Me (only for a while, and in the strangest ways). If you haven’t seen his comic, Eros Inc, you should check it out! It has my endorsement!
I’ve been really getting into drawing only with my tablet… Because of the fact that it’s easy to lose the “gritty” feeling that a my pencil work was giving me in the beginning of my comic, Anhedonia Blue, I’ve been trying to find a way to reproduce that look with the tablet. I figured no better way than drawing black and white hands right? This worked out particularly well because Eros Inc is black and white! So it was a fun exploration while still serving a solid purpose.

I love the raw details of the hand, and the contrast of the grey on different shades of red. Awesome.

LMAO I was waiting for SOMEONE to point that out.. I was REALLY hoping that that wouldn’t be the case.. I redrew the heart like 10 times cos it just wasn’t looking heartish enough.. Hopefully to other people (that aren’t you) it just looks like a heart.
