So, I got a 3 month old puppy named Winslow, he is a Queensland Red Heeler Mix. I wasn’t planning on adopting him yesterday but when i went into the pet adoption place i couldn’t resist. I went back to the place three times and each time i liked him that much more; now after a bunch of expensive adoption fees, vet bills, and pet suplies, Winslow is all mine. He’s a lot to work with, he seems to think that if we are gonna go out side for a walk that he should pee and poop before right inside the door! >< Anyway, due to how much time I've been spending with him since yesterday.. I really wasn't able to get a post out.. I must apologize for this months lack of posts; I'll try to get better about this. Gah... seriously he just peed again.....

currently living in Australia, 98% we have to move to Houston, Texas because of my dad’s work… (thats why we moved from Holland to Australia…) Texas is where head office is and my dad’s getting promoted to there…

Man that blows that you’d have to leave Australia! I’ve been there once and i wanted to move there and never come back to America! Sydney was one of my favorite places I’ve ever been too.

i lived there till i was 3 1/2 but then we moved to Australia (NT) but we used to visit back there i few times… till my grandpa died in 2001, thats when we stopped going…

Why did you go for Winslow and not Pintsize?
Although you wouldn’t want to encourage a puppy to be *that* rude!
I chose Winslow for a number of reason, firstly being that all the names i had chosen before i got him really didn’t fit his breed and secondly cos I wanted to name him “Win” but really like full names with shorter nicknames. So i remembered the name Winslow. After pondering on it I tossed around the idea of Pintsize and other names from QC but, Pintsize wouldn’t work for a dog like him once he’s 40+ pounds. Also my friend has a dog who’s a similar breed and is named Webster. They already hang out a lot so i thought it would be cool if they were Winslow and Webster. :]
