This is a concept I really wanted to draw ever since my friend Joe Hunter made a remark about her looking like an Anime Character a few months back on twitter; which is too true. She seriously looks like a crazy ass villain from a comic book or cartoon series.. especially in that Telephone video she did with Beyonce, which is where this piece was influenced off of. :] After watching it at friends house a few days ago I came home and stayed up all night drawing this. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy it… if you like it I’m also selling this as a 11×17 print for $15 bucks though this site as well as my etsy account.

On that note, I’d like to inform you all that Unconscious Ink [ui] will no long be following a post schedule. Because of that fact that I’m doing Anhedonia Blue and LAWLS full time.. and cos I’m picking up more free-lance work and am in school I haven’t really been able to find time to do inklings anymore. That being said, from time to time, I will post stuff here.. Just cos i’m not doing this regularly doesn’t mean i wont have random fun ideas to share. Also, when i release my first line of plushies I’ll be posting them here for people to see… so just check back from time to time.. OR follow my twitter @joenisnorac cos I’ll always post a link on there when something is new at any of my sites. :]

…this is EXACTLY how I feel right now. I’ve taken on such an abundance projects that I’ve complete messed up my sleep schedule. In fact I just stayed up ALL night getting all these websites back up while putting Anhedonia Blue’s First book together! Anyway, this is a charcoal drawing i did for school… and guess what…

Seriously, I love eating, I think that this green beasty thing is me… cos I could sure as hell go for a cookie. Cookies make me happy.

Confused? Don’t be… I had to take a break from regular post tonight because of the fact that this week is going to be one hell of a week. As some of you know I just started at the Academy of Art which means I now have homework again.. that itself isn’t the problem though.. The real issue is that I have to figure out a way to get the next 5 pages or so of Anhedonia done in about a week or so to get the proofs done for the first book so that I can have copies ready in time for Emerald City Comicon! For those of you who are reading Anehdonia Blue, I’ll let you in on a little secret; chapter one is almost done, and because of that the first hard copy release of it will be available shortly after. I’m going to be announcing a pre-order this coming Monday when i post the next page. I’ll have more details then, but there will be some free stuff involved in pre-ordering the book! I need help fronting the money for the production of them so and pre-orders will help me out tremendously! Also, in the next few weeks I’ll be announcing a new project I’m working on! ^_~ Anyway.. i need to get back to work on the next page. See you Thursday with a “normal” Unconscious Ink! ;]
