Genre: Graphic Novel
Rating: Mature
Post Schedule: Monday
Synopsis:

A modern day story about magic which takes place in Seattle, WA. The comic moves through the mind of a girl who suffers from a major depressive disorder, the specific symptoms of which are expressed as those of an anhedonic nature– the inability to feel pleasure or even a connection to the people around her. Psychological themes are the primary vehicles used to develop an understanding of various mystical and mythical themes in fantasy writing such as magic and folklore. This concept applies these ancient ideas with a more modern reflection of the current world view through an understanding of not only psychology but religion, politics and a loss of strong emotional networks between people around the world.

Synopsis:

You may or may not know this, but if you don’t, I must inform you now: Air Whales are assholes. This comic follows a journey of a young guy who loathes the world’s Air Whales so intensely that he’ll stop at nothing to find one and bludgeon it to death. Little does he know though that Air Whales have been nearly extinct for many years and are very hard to find. Will he find one? Or will he die alone on his journey? The answer to these questions and many MANY more will be found here, at L.A.W.L.S. – Large Air Whales Like Silence.

Duration: 2008-2010
Synopsis:

A collection of drawings varying from creature designs to surreal artwork. This project’s overall purpose was to explore the unconscious thoughts of an artist–namely myself. I used this as a venue to expand my skill sets by having my readers suggest new “inklings” week to week, while trying new techniques on Photoshop along the way. Unconscious Ink was the bridge for me to get from overly simple comics about rabbits, to more complex, textures and realistic drawings which are seen in “Anhedonia Blue.”

Synopsis:

My first comic is one I started while in college as a joke between a friend and I. The original release of the comic was entirely black and white mostly done on college ruled lined paper. In 2008, I brought back some of the earlier comics and re-posted them online. The comic is about two rabbits, Reeder and Coney, who are socially awkward representations of two different sides of my personality. These rabbits, begrudgingly as I may make it sound, will always have a soft spot in my heart because without them I wouldn’t be where I am today and webcomics wouldn’t be what I do.
