1. I finally got a hold of a copy of Parasite Eve, the book, by Hideaki Sena. Being that the original PlayStation 1 game was one of my all time favorites, I’ve been dieing to find out where the story had come from. I knew there was a book.. they even sort of mentioned it in the first game.. but I had no clue what it was about till I started reading it. So far I’ve read the prologue and half of the section entitled “Development.” I’ve come to find out that this is actually a prequel to the games, which is really cool cos maybe I can finally start to understand what the hell the games are about! haha. Anyway, so far its a pretty good read… sort of awkwardly translated (this book was originally written in Japanese and was translated by Tyran Grillo… so I don’t know if every intended meaning was translated to English perfectly)… but good all the same.
